Ingredients
200g good quality dark chocolate, approx 70-75% cocoa 4 eggs 125g butter 180g sugar 60g plane flour 40g ground almonds 1 and 1/2 tspn baking powder
Method
Preheat oven to 180C Melt chocolate over boiling water or in microwave (if using microwave, add 3 tblspns water before melting) In a bowl mix eggs, sugar, baking powder, flour and ground almond Pour in the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly Coat a round sponge or baking tin with butter and flour Pour in mixture and bake for about 25 mins until firm on the outside and slightly gooey in the middle Remove and allow to cool
