Apple Jam

Ingredients

2kg apples (2/3 sweet eg Gala and 1/3 sour eg Granny Smiths)
500g sugar
1 tblspn cinnamon

Method

Chop up into sticks (1" long by 1/4" wide)

Soak the apples overnight in the sugar

Add cinnamon and bring to the boil and boil gently for 20-25 mins

Put into jars and allow to cool then close jars

Keep refrigerated
